Kim Mulkey

A celebrated U.S. basketball legend, Kim Mulkey has won six NCAA national championships as a head coach, and two national titles, four Final Fours, and an Olympic gold medal in 1984 as a player herself. 

Her session will offer powerful lessons on leadership, communication, and teamwork to inspire new thinking on law firm dynamics.

Ritz Cancellation Policy: Reservations must be cancelled seventy-two (72) hours prior to arrival to avoid a one (1) night room and tax penalty.

Frequently Asked Questions


Will the Emerging Leaders or Women's Leadership Congress meet this year?

Yes! Both the Meritas Emerging Leaders and the Women's Leadership Congress (WLC) will have the opportunity to gather in New Orleans.

The WLC will host a First-Time Attendee Breakfast on Thursday, April 23, as well as an afternoon workshop the same day.

Emerging Leaders can enjoy their own session on Friday, April 24, as well as an optional scavenger hunt activity later that afternoon.


What is the meeting cancellation policy?

Individual cancellations should be completed by Wednesday, April 8, 2026 to receive a refund. Refunds for cancellations received prior to the deadline will be applied to the credit card used for payment.

Appropriate substitutions are allowed by another member of the same firm, at any time. Simply contact Manda Herzing to make a replacement.



Can you provide a Visa invitation letter?

Members can receive a personalized letter from Sona Pancholy, Meritas President, prior to the meeting to present to customs officials, upon request. Please submit your request for a letter to Manda Herzing by Wednesday, April 8, 2026.
